Designing new scissors is a fun but arduous process. Initially we go on what people have been asking for and when prototypes are put out to test, our very passionate testers let us know if we've got it spot on or completely wrong VERY quickly. Then it's the tweaking of small details to make it more functional or a complete scrapping of the idea. Every now and again we hit a design that is so dead on and so close to perfection that we don't hear from our testers for weeks. This makes us very excited.

We've had one of these cases recently.

The PASSION COBALT ORCA is (we've been assured by our testers) a monster of a scissor. Why? It's effortless ability to cut through any type of hair. Whether we're talking feathery Scandinavian hair, thick Mediterranean hair or ultra-thick Oriental hair, under the powerful blades of the Orca they all feel like butter under a hot knife. To the stylist that means minimum effort & maximum results. Out of the 6 test models working the field we have 4 pairs which have been put on reserve by the tester and 2 pairs which have gone AWOL (we know who you are guys!). Stuff like this makes us very excited.
